How Insulation Contractors Beaverton Works

Insulation Contractors Beaverton insulates attics, walls and crawl spaces in Beaverton and the surrounding Washington County communities. We install blown-in fiberglass and cellulose, spray foam, batts and rigid foam board, and we remove old, wet or rodent-damaged insulation when it has to come out first.

Every job starts with a look at the house itself. We go into the attic and, where there is access, the crawl space. We measure how much insulation is there now and what kind it is, look for gaps around recessed lights, plumbing stacks, chimneys and the attic hatch, check that bathroom and kitchen fans actually vent outdoors, and note signs of moisture, mold or rodents. Under the floor we check the ground cover, the vents and whether any existing batts have fallen or soaked up water.

Then you get a written quote. It lists each area, the material, the R-value we are installing to, the depth or thickness, the square footage and the price, plus any prep work such as air sealing, baffles, removal or a new ground cover. Nothing starts until you approve it, and any change in scope is agreed with you in writing first.

How we work

  • Air leaks are sealed before new insulation covers them.
  • Soffit vents are kept open with baffles so the attic can still breathe.
  • Depth markers go in on blown-in jobs so you can see the installed level.
  • Old vermiculite is never disturbed; if we see it, we stop and tell you.
  • Rodent-soiled material is handled as a cleanup job first, not covered over.
  • We explain which areas may qualify for Energy Trust of Oregon incentives and point you to the current program terms.
